Eng. Zia Ur Rahman and Eng. Shuja Mohammed sheriff shared a
common view that it’s the real need of the time to have a common
platform for all professionals and at the same time become a
premier non-profit organization of non resident Indian
professionals dedicated to their welfare & professional
excellence. To further strengthen our goals Dr. Annie Thomas &
Eng. Jayanthi Srinivasan were invited and to translate vision
into reality Founder members invited other likeminded
professionals and struggled hard in a meaningful interaction
with different discipline professionals and with these efforts
IDEALS
(Indian Doctors, Engineers, Architects and Lawyers Society)
registered under society's act vide registration no 1104 of 2002
(copyrights reserved) came into existence. To develop the bonds
of togetherness and working for the betterment of society by
channelizing the resources to Indian Community and involving
officials of Indian government to meet the aspirations of Non
Resident Indians. For democratic and professional functioning of
IDEALS
free of any prejudice and to further explore the area of
cooperation and working for the betterment of society it was
decided to form an Advisory Committee, a Core Committee and an
Executive Committee.
Govt. of India recognized society's services and they made
IDEALS
as nodal point for promotion of "Pravasi Bharatiys Divas" which
was being organized for the first time in the history.
IDEALS
excised all our efforts to promote the event in cooperation with
FCCI and Ministry of External Affairs and a five member
delegation from
IDEALS
has been to Delhi for representation and put forward our
grievances to PBD Secretariat. It was decided by the committee
to address the issues like education, investment, employment,
professional advancement and finally welfare in required
directions
OBJECTIVES
Welfare:
Ideals will provide the forum for the NRI professionals to air
their concerns and problems, discuss solutions and represent on
collective basis with relevant authorities for their resolution
Education:
Enhance educational opportunities for the children of the NRI
professionals in India and abroad through dissemination of
information, representation and collaboration with the
educational institutions and the governments
Professional Advancement:
Create adequate opportunities for the professionals to interact
and share knowledge and experience in their respective fields
Investment:
Share information on investment opportunities in India and act
as a channel of communication between potential investors and
the other bodies
Employment:
Act as an informal forum for continuous exchange of information
on employment opportunities and facilitate potential employers
and the aspirants in the recruitment process.
