Future of the country lies in startups: Piyush Goyal

BHILAI, CHHATTISGARH: A conclave on startup India was jointly organised on Monday by professional development committee and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The programme was hosted by Bhilai branch of CIRC of ICAI at civic center. Minister for railways and coal Piyush Goyal was invited as chief guest and national general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dr Saroj Pandey was invited as the guest of honor. Addressing the gathering, Goyal said that the use of technology is increasing in the changing global scenario and the future lies in innovations.
He said that today’s youths don’t want to follow traditional ways, they want a change and want to become financially independent. He also said that the upcoming technology of artificial intelligence is going to change our world entirely. He also appealed all chartered accountants to get united and not to accept any illegal accounting work or bribe.
He added that if all chartered accountants unite with each other, then the problem of corruption in the country can be resolved and the image of India can be changed.
Speaking at a conclave on startup India, he said that startup India is a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and at a time when traditional business practices are becoming irrelevant, the future is in start Up India and Stand Up India.

Goyal also appealed to the youths to join the Startup India Scheme. He said that there is a great need for good people in politics.
In the changing scenario of trading, the importance of technology is increasing and detailed discussion should also be done on the subjects like artificial intelligence and 3D manufacturing.
Traditional employment opportunities are being eliminated, so in the field of business there is a need to move forward with new thoughts, he added.
During his Chhattisgarh visit, the Union minister also convened a meeting in Raipur and reviewed the progress of ongoing projects of railways and Coal India. He instructed the officials to complete projects within the time limit. He emphasized to increase the use of technology to improve functioning of both the organizations.
