The newly appointed CEO of Mawyah Group of Clinics, Syed Zia ur Rahman announced increments and sops to its employees.
Making the announcement Chief Executive Officer said “Keeping in view the rising inflation and its effect on the employees, Management has decided to increase the salaries and the housing allowances for this year.
Syed Zia ur Rahman, CEO of Mawyah Clinics was speaking at function organized to felicitate him for his recent promotion. The event assumed significance as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the group.
Zia also spoke on the importance of Time management and urged the employees to utilize the time properly. He further said, success is three dimensional, the three elements are professional competence, use of high technology, and the manpower involved.
Speaking on this occasion Dr. Ali Al-Shammary who owns the Mawyah group said “Every individual’s life roams around three basic elements K.S.A “Knowledge, Skill and Attitude”. In practical life, attitude comes first. Skills will not come unless you work hard to develop them, but knowledge is freely available everywhere including the internet. To gain knowledge you should have positive attitude. Once you put your knowledge into practical definitely your skills will develop”.
Dr. Ali Al-Shammary who is also the Chairman of Board of trustees of Riyadh College of Dentistry and Pharmacy encouraged his employees to develop positive attitude and serve the patients with at most care. It is also important to understand and satisfy the needs of the patients.
On this occasion a training session was also conducted for the employees of Mawyah group of clinics. Dr. Ali Al-Shammary said that he is adding two extra days to the annual vacation of those employees who has attended this session.
The program started with the recitation of Holy Quraan by Dr. Osama Saleem Abdul Aziz.
Master of Ceremony Dr. Mohammad Mujeeb translated the verses of the Holy Quraan into English. Personnel Manager and the first employee of Mawyah, Mohammad Abdul Rahman presenting the history of Mawyah group in Arabic and Dr. Mujeeb translated in English.
He said “Mawyah Clinics, previously known as Salama Diagnostic Center was started in a small four room flat 10 years ago, today it occupies the entire floor of the building, it was the second diagnostic center in Riyadh in 1998, We have the privilege of purchasing the first diagnostic center of Riyadh at that time within a year. It was called Early Diagnostic Center. Since then we are going on expanding, today we have a total of nine clinics under the patronage of Dr. Ali Al-Shammary as Mawyah Clinics.
At the end of century when Kingdom was celebrating the 100 years, Mawyah meaning 100, to commemorate the centenary celebrations of the Kingdom we changed the name from Salama to Mawyah. And it is also the vision of Dr. Ali and his team to have hundred clinics in Mawyah group in the near future”.
He further said, this year, we have changed our logo; we adopted wheat grains as our new logo. The logo of wheat spike signifies prosperity, Holy Quraan says, that whatever money you spend for the good deeds will prosper like the growth of grains, when you bow it will transform into a plant, each plant will have seven spikes, every spike will transform into 100″.
Dr. Delfin Federico Jr. conducted the training session on the “Importance of Dental Assistants in Dental Health Delivery System.”
Internationally acclaimed Training Consultant, Dr. Wesam Halawani conducted an interactive training session on CRM (Customer Relationship Management). His bilingual presentation was well received by the participants.
Dr. Ali Al-Shammary, General Manager presented the plaque of appreciation to speakers, and staff for their contribution to the group.
A Medical Quiz and Raffle Draw were also conducted on this occasion.
Esam Al-Guoribi Manager of Mawyah Sulaimaniya branch proposed the vote of thanks.
Dr. Mohammad Mujeeb a senior Clinical Pathologist of Mawyah group anchored the program in his inimitable style. Though the proceedings were conducted mostly in English, Dr. Mujeeb translated the Arabic speeches for the benefit of non-Arabic staff.
