The board also selected Sami Al Reyami as Deputy Chairman of the association, Mona Abu Samra as Secretary, and Hussain Al Mannai as Treasure.
The selections were made during the board's first meeting yesterday. The nine-member board includes Mohammad Yousuf, Sami Al Reyami, Mona Abu Samra, Hussain Al Mannai, Abdul Rahman Naqi, Mohammad Esmail Jaber, Saeed Al Badi, Haleema Al Mulla and Khadeeja Al Kuthairi.
Seven committees were formed during the meeting.
The committees include the Financial Resource Development Committee. It includes Dha'en Shaheen, Dr Abdullah Al Nowais, Habib Al Sayegh, Humaid Al Mukhawi, Ebrahim Al Thahli and Abdullah Rashid, apart from three members of the association's board.
