According to Mumzy Ameen, a member of the ILC : ‘The camp is meant for housemaids and girls who work in beauty salons. They are the ones who need this the most.’
More than 35 women have already registered for the camp, which will be organized on March 24 and 31.The medical camp will be organized at the Gatewell Medical Centre, Bank Street, Bur Dubai, and will be conducted by gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr Sarita Kapoor. Women who earn less than Dhs. 1,000 a month can register the camp.
The camp will offer a variety of test. ‘If there is any need for further tests or investigation, those will be taken care as well, Ameen said.
