Hajj - Checklist
Check-list of things you should take during Hajj.
Photocopies of Iqama - Hajj ID and passport size photograph of all the family members.
Money as budgeted for Rabat, Qurbani, travel etc. be paid as soon as you arrive.
Bank card for withdrawals if necessary.
Two or more sets of Ihram.
Picture ID with phone contacts for children.
Religous books.
Masalla & Tasbi.
Umbrella if necessary.
Water bottle - Mugs for tea - small tiffin box.
Put your name and address outside your baggage and special marks for identification.
Folding luggage cart - Very handy to put your luggage and pull it along.
Take only few clothes - " Less is better", you have to carry what you pack.
Strong and sturdy - Sling bag - having arrangement for money pouch.
Two small and one large towel.
Korean mat - plastic useful at Muzdalifah and at Mina.
Small cloth bag for keeping pebbles.
List of important phone numbers to be given to family members.
Edible Products:
High Energy Dry Snacks that can easily be carried, stored and consumed.
Take powered Glucose to replinish vital salts and sugar and salt tablets.
Milk packets for children with chips etc.
Toiletries
Toothbrush, toothpaste, dove soap, soap-dish, small shampoo bottle.
Disposable razor, small mirror, comb, nail clipper.
Attar.
Pocket size tissue paper.
Wet-wipes and pampers for children.
Miscellaneous items:
Water bottle.
Pen, pencil, small note book and pocket calculator.
Phone card or mobile phone.
Pocket knife and small scissor.
Small flash light.
Tumblers and paper plates.
Garbage bags to put slippers etc.
Safety pins.
Laundry detergent powder, clothes line and clothes pin for drying clothes.
Medicine:
For diarrhea, headache, colds and flu, allergy.
For diabetes and blood pressure patients.
Band-aid.
Tips:
Designate a set place to meet inside and outside Haram in Makkah and Medina. A particular door by number etc. in case you group members are lost.
Spare eye-glasses.
Inquire the camp no and address of your stay in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat as lot of people get lost in the crowds and the police will help you if you have the address i.e the camp no etc.
Should you not know any procedure, please enquire with an Alim.
