INDIAN ASSOCIATION DUBAI, DUBAI
With a history of more than five glorious decades behind it, the Indian Association has come a long way in achieving its objectives laid down way back in 1957. It was the first official Indian organization in the UAE instituted to coordinate matters relating to Indians with the British Political Agency and the Indian Mission in Muscat.
Having been established with the purpose of selecting an interim committee and to have a workable constitution for the Indian National Association, this association gradually extended its activities to a variety of cultural spheres. And today, the Indian Association looks back with pride at its achievements and looks forward to its manifold challenges and responsibilities to the Indian community.
