Incredible……!! Is'nt it………!!
Mohammed Shaibaz Tumbi and B. Manoj Kumar of St. Peter's High School broke Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli's world record stand of 664 runs when they
Hammered triple hundreds and were involved in an unbroken opening partnership of 721 runs in the Hyderabad Cricket Association's under-13 Cricket League
Championship played at the Parade grounds, Hyderabad.
The Master blaster Sachin alongwith his best pal Vinod Kambli had scored 664 runs for their school Sharadashram Vidyamandir against St. Xavier's at Mumbai,
Almost two decades ago.
Shaibaz and Manoj played a havoc, it was a massacre of the innocents as they scored 324 & 320, with Shaibaz walloping 57 fours and Manoj 46 hits to the fence, the fielders were having a harrowing time, in fact they could not withstand the merciless attack and the poor fellows just stood as spectators stop chasing the ball,
incidentally it was the highest ever total in a limited-overs game, surpassing the previous best of 630 for 5 in 45 overs in league match played last August in
California.
The commendable facet of their achievement was the remarks they made after the match, Shaibaz said "I dedicate the triple hundred to Allah, my coaches,
Brothers and sisters and particularly my driver Vijay Sharma, who sincerely drops and picks me up from practice everyday". Manoj said " he was thrilled to have
Broken my idol Sachin's and Vinod's record, I am ambitious but I did not think that I would get such a big knock.
The city of Hyderabad obviously, occupy a honorable and glittering appearance on India's map with the glory brought by former Indian Captain Mohammed Azharuddin
And Tennis star Sania Mirza, adds another feather to the crown by these two lads.
